Honolulu police continue to investigate the case of needles found in seats at a Kapolei theater. So far, there’s no additional reports of more needles found. If you have any information on this, call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.

On Hawaii Island, Pu`ukohola He`ia National Historic Park has been reopened after being closed due to a brushfire in the Kawaihae area. The visitor center, trails and parking center at the historic site, built by Kamehameha the Great, are also open as well.

The Coast Guard is searching for a missing Hawaii Island man. Gregory Voight went kayaking Sunday from Pahoehoe Beach in Kailua-Kona. If you know where he is or see his wooden kayak, call the Coast Guard.

Expect more traffic near the airport this weekend. Starting at 9 Friday night, three lanes will be closed on the westbound side of the H-1 between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam off-ramp. Lanes reopen at 12:01 Monday morning.

The Kaneohe-bound lanes of the H-3 will be shut down next Wednesday from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. for production of the TV show Hawaii Five-O.
