An inmate missing from the Laumaka Work Furlough Center is back in custody.
DeJohn Williams, 43, failed to return after work Friday night. He left that morning and was scheduled to return by 6:30 p.m.
State Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified.
Williams was arrested for escape just after 7 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Nuuanu Avenue and Kukui Street.
He was also booked on one count of promotion of a dangerous drug.
Williams was serving time for promotion of a dangerous drug. Escape 2 is expected to be added to his charges.
Williams was classified as community custody which is the lowest custody level.
