Mililani & Kapa’a at the top of first Cover2 Power Poll

The defending state champions are still at the top.

After opening their 2015 campaign with a 73-14 win over McKinley on Saturday evening, Mililani voted a nearly unanimous number-1 in the very first Cover2 Power Poll of season three.

Kahuku, who is off to a 2-0 start with wins over Campbell and Kapolei, were the only other team to receive a first place selection, however, after tallying all the votes the Red Raiders came in fourth behind ILH powers Saint Louis and Punahou.

Starting next week, you will be able to vote in the Cover2 Power Poll with the weekly viewer vote. One of the 20 ballots cast each week will be the added totals from the viewer vote.

COVER2 Hawaii High School Football Weekly will debut its third season on Wednesday September 2nd at 9:30pm on KHON2. The rest of the 13 week season will air on Thursdays at 9:30pm on KHON2.
