Hawaii’s Most Wanted: Roy Cruz-Keawe

Honolulu police officers during a traffic stop in 2013 found a man had outstanding warrants for his arrest, and now another has been added.

HPD is now searching for Roy Cruz-Keawe.

“On July 11, 2013, at 1:35 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Paiwa Street for numerous traffic violations,” said Crimestoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “They identified the driver as Cruz-Keawe. They ran a computer check of the vehicle and his name for driver’s license and found he did not have a valid driver’s license, and also had three outstanding warrants.”

Police also found drugs on him, and arrested him for the various offenses.

He’s now wanted a $20,000 warrant for not following the terms of HOPE probation.

“He’s known to frequent the Waianae area, and has 8 prior convictions,” Buffett said.
