The Honolulu Fire Department battled a late night house fire on Puowaina Drive.
At about 11:30 p.m., HFD personal responded to a two-alarm building fire with ten companies staffed with 39 personnel.
The first unit arrived at 11:36 p.m. to find a three-story, multi-family home with the top level engulfed in fire.
Fire personnel used foam to suppress the flames and protect neighboring homes.
The fire was brought under control by 12:23 a.m. and fully extinguished at 12:52 a.m.
It was reported to HFD that an adult female was home at the time of the fire and was able to evacuate without injury.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters are calling the incident a total loss, with a final damage estimate of $200,000 for the structure and $30,000 for its contents.
Firefighters say the cause will remain undetermined due the inaccessibility of the point of origin of the fire.
