Oahu man charged after alleged attempt to buy BMW with stolen credit card

An Oahu man has been charged after police say he tried to buy a car with a stolen credit card.

Police say on July 15, Gabriel Palolo, 34, walked into a car dealership and tried to buy a BMW, which was worth more than $20,000.

He was charged with ID theft, theft, forgery and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.

His bail was set at $200,000.
