Undefeated Farrington moves into Top 5 in latest #Cover2 Power Poll

After surviving a battle of “unbeatens” in the OIA this past Saturday, Farrington made its first appearance in the top five of the latest Cover2 and Geico Power Poll in Division I.

The Governors, who beat Kailua 19-13 at Vasconcellos Stadium, led by 237 yards rushing from running back Challen Fa‘amatau, improved to 5-0 on the season.

In its second consecutive meeting of public school powers, the Governors will face third-ranked and defending state champion Mililani Thursday night at Aloha Stadium.

As for the rest of the top five, Saint Louis remains at the top, earning 15 first-place votes. The Crusaders are followed by four-time defending ILH Champion Punahou. For a second straight week, Kahuku finishes with the same amount of points from pollsters as Mililani.

The Division II top five remained untouched for a third consecutive week, with Kapa‘a earning 11 first place votes. Radford received nine first place votes as the Rams were followed by Damien, Nanakuli and Konawaena.
