Hawaii Island police are searching for a 27-year-old Kealakekua man wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery.
Alihilani Joshua Stringert is described to be 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown eyes, short brown hair and tattoos on his arms.
Shortly before 2 p.m. on Sept. 10, police say a man took a purse from a 54-year-old Captain Cook woman as she was about to enter a business establishment on the 74-5000 block of Kaiwi Street in Kailua-Kona.
The suspect fled in a charcoal gray Nissan Altima four-door sedan.
Investigation identified Stringert as a person of interest.
