Parts of Hawaii Island got hit with rain Thursday.
The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory that evening, though viewers reported heavy rain for much of the day.
Radar indicated heavy showers along leeward slopes from Kailua-Kona to Milolii, producing rain rates of around 2 inches per hour.
Brandon Kapaun shared video of the flooding along Highway 11 (Mamalahoa Highway) in Kealakekua.
The rain eased up as the night went on, prompting the NWS to cancel the advisory by 7:30 p.m.
