Aloha Festivals parade to delay Ala Moana/Waikiki morning traffic

This year’s Aloha Festivals concludes Saturday morning with its annual parade and motorists can expect delays as the parade’s route includes Ala Moana Blvd. and Kalakaua Avenue.

The parade will be held from 9 a.m.-noon as it wends it way from Ala Moana Beach Park, through Kalakaua, and ending at Kapiolani Park.

The annual parade always includes a steady procession of female and male pau horseback riders, floats, music, hula halau and local marching bands.

Motorists should expect travel delays near Ala Moana and into Waikiki during the parade and are advised to use alternate routes.

Roads will reopen at the discretion of the Honolulu Police Department.
