CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Noah Montemayor, who lives in the Hawaii Kai area.
Officers and the city’s Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services Division have been searching for the 16-year-old near Makapuu since Wednesday.
Officials say lifeguards on rescue watercraft are searching the area around the lookout.
However, they stress, there is no confirmation he is in the ocean at this time.
Montemayor was last seen on Sept. 29, 2015, at approximately 9 a.m. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Authorities say he may be emotionally distraught and was last seen going to bed.
Montemayor is described to be 5’9” and 130 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.
