Honolulu firefighters recovered the body of a man out of the Keehi Boat Harbor.
Officials say U.S. Emergency Medical services alerted firefighters just before 9 p.m. Sunday to help bring a patient back to shore.
At first, it was reported as a cardiac arrest but when firefighters arrived, they say a man in his 50s appeared to be dead for a while.
Investigators say there are no signs of foul play. The case is pending an autopsy report to determine the exact cause of death.
