When Iolani was called up to Division I this season, many questioned whether the Raiders had the size and depth to compete with the big boys of the ILH.
The fact of the matter is they’re not quite there yet.
What they do have is toughness in spades in players like Christian Naeole, an undersized defensive end at 5 feet 9 and 196 pounds.
Despite often times giving nearly 100 pounds to his opponents, Naeole was referred to by his adversaries as “unblockable,” piling up 10 sacks in just nine games this season.
