Professional tandem surfers battle for world title this weekend at Makaha Beach

Tandem surfing was born in Waikiki and has been around for decades.

To be a tandem surfer, you have to be in great mental and physical shape.

This weekend, the best of the best tandem surfers from around the world are in Hawaii to compete in the SEAHAWAII Tandem Surfing World Championship.  We’re learning more about the competition today from Tiffany Rabacal-Harper, International Tandem Surfing Association (ITSA) Co-President & Head Judge.
