Waiakea HS to compete in LifeSmarts Hawaii Championship on Oahu

Waiakea High School right here in Hilo will compete with three teams from Oʻahu in the LifeSmarts Hawaii State Championship on Sat., February 20th at the Hawaii State Capitol Auditorium.

LifeSmarts is a consumer education program designed to teach students in grades 6-12 about Personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities.

The other top teams are from ʻIolani, Maryknoll and Pearl City high schools.

The overall winner will represent Hawaii at the National LifeSmarts Competition in Denver in April 2016.
