Thousands of UH students head back to school for spring semester

The University of Hawaii System is back in session this morning for their spring 2016 semester.

Tens of thousands of students heading back to campuses across the state, especially at Manoa, which has the largest student body of any university or college in the state.

So a warning for you as you head out the door this morning. You may want to add a half hour to your commute time.

UHM has taken special steps to make sure students returning for the new semester can get onto campus in the easiest fashion possible.

If you want to know more about some of the traffic mitigation that is being implemented and the plan Manoa has to make drive times better you can visit their website at http://www.manoa.hawaii.edu/commuter.
