Illinois man makes living sticking objects onto his head

EVERGREEN PARK, Ill. (WLS/CNN) — There are many unique ways to make a living in this world.

But one Illinois man has come up with something entirely new.

Jamie Keeton has the odd ability to stick cans and other objects to his bald head.

No, this isn’t made up.

“One Coke and then a full Coke. It just sticks to me, to my whole body… They don’t really know (why),” Keeton explains.

One doctor told him it’s because of his abnormally high body temperature. Keeton is always at 100 degrees, and that somehow turns his skin into a total body suction cup.

“Twenty three years ago, I shaved my head for the first time. And I was at a ball game. I was trying to cool my head down because it was a hot day. And all of a sudden they hit a home run,” Keeton said. “I went up to grab it… I missed it, and then said, ‘Where’s my drink?’ Everybody was laughing… The drink was stuck to the back of my head. The drink was pouring out of it.”

Keeton has now parlayed this very unusual ability into a bit of worldwide fame. Just last week in China, he set a record for being the greatest canhead of all time, and he will soon be in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Suddenly the money came rolling in.

“Now it’s turned into a business where I actually promote people’s companies all the time. Different companies just to wear their name on my cans or on my shirts,” Keeton explained.

Canhead Keeton says he can make up to $1,000 a day and even $8,000 for a weekend of renting out his head.

He doesn’t just latch onto cans and bottles.

“It doesn’t have to be a can. I can stick almost anything. Let me try your iPhone. Look, I’m hands free,” Keeton jokes.
