Aloha Plate chef faces new competition in sabotage-filled ‘Cutthroat Kitchen’

A local celebrity chef who gained fame on Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race” made an appearance on “Cutthroat Kitchen” Sunday night.

Adam Tabura and his brother Lanai and friend Shawn Felipe won season four of the popular reality competition series with their food truck “Aloha Plate.”

This time, Chef Adam faced new competition in “Cutthroat Kitchen” on his own. It’s a show where contestants could sabotage one another to stay alive in the game.

“You know ‘Cutthroat Kitchen’ gave the opportunity to go back to the national level of representing Hawaii, that was the main thing why I went back when they called me up. They wanted me to represent,” said Chef Adam.

Tabura still operates the Aloha Plate food truck on Oahu.
