After spending the past three weekends in the friendly confines of the Stan Sheriff Center, the No. 4 University of Hawai’i men’s volleyball team will embark on a week-long road trip to Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foes No. 6 Stanford, Feb. 12 & 13, and USC, Feb. 15 & 16.

The Stanford matches will be played at Burnham Pavilion on Friday and Maples Pavilion on Saturday. Next week’s USC series will be played at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. All four matches begin at 7:00 p.m. PT (5:00 p.m. HT) with only Tuesday’s USC match televised on the Pac-12 Networks.

UH (9-2, 4-2 MPSF) is fresh off a series split with then-No. 1 UCLA, winning in four sets on Friday before falling in five sets on Saturday which vaulted them one spot to a season-best No. 4 national ranking in the AVCA Coaches Poll. Friday’s win gave head coach Charlie Wade his 100th career victory. Freshman Stijn van Tilburg led the Warriors with a career-high 21 kills and followed that with 17 kills in Saturday’s loss and for his efforts, was selected as the national freshman of the week.

Stanford (8-2, 6-2 MPSF) split a pair of road matches last week, falling to No. 2 Long Beach State in four and sweeping CSUN. USC (2-8, 2-6) also split a pair, losing in four at UC Irvine while wining in four at UC San Diego. The Trojans host CSUN and Long Beach State prior to the UH series.
