SCHEDULE OF LANE CLOSURES (Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.)
There will be no work done on Presidents’ Day Monday due to it being a federal and city holiday.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU 
8:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Lane closures in both directions between the Middle Street Overpass and Ainakoa Avenue for overhead sign replacements.

PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU
8 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Right lane closures in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp for bridge deck overlay work.

  • Two lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
  • Three lanes closed from 8:45 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

PEARL CITY
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Up to three lanes closed in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass for the rail project. The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

WAIAWA INTERCHANGE
Sunday through Thursday for the rail project:

Farrington Highway to the H-1

  • Eastbound onramp to eastbound H-1 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Up to three eastbound lanes of the H-1 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Up to three westbound lanes at the H-1/H-2 merge will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Westbound offramp to Waipahu will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Onramp from Waihona Street to Kamehameha eastbound will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Northbound onramp to the H-2 northbound will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

WAIPAHU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Shoulder closure in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Paiwa Street Underpass for slope repair work.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Paiwa Street Underpass for equipment removal.

9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the freeway in the westbound direction for the rail project.

— H-3 FREEWAY —

KANEOHE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Shoulder closure in the eastbound direction at the Kamehameha Highway Underpass for utility installations.

8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Left lane closure in the Kailua-bound direction between the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass and the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass for median maintenance.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

HONOKAI HALE
8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Shoulder closure in the westbound direction between the H-1 Freeway and Waiomea Street for road repairs

KAPOLEI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closed in the westbound direction between Kualakai Parkway and Kapolei Golf Course Road for equipment removals.

NANAKULI
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday: Two lane closures in the southbound direction between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue for sewer installations. Traffic will be contraflowed in the northbound lanes.

PEARL CITY 
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the eastbound off-ramp to the northbound H-2 Freeway for the rail project.

WAIANAE
9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday: Right lane closure in the southbound direction between Guard Street and Lualualei Homestead Road for utility installations.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in the northbound direction between Lualualei Homestead Road and Jade Street for soil testing.

9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday: Right lane closure in the southbound direction between Ala Poko Street and Leihoku Street for pole installations.

WAIPAHU 
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the eastbound off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway for the rail project.

Tuesday through Friday for the rail project:
Kahi Mohala to Leoku Street

  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Leoku Street to Leokane Street

  • Left turn going westbound at Leoku Street will be closed 24/7. Drivers will be detoured to an alternate turn on the west side of the Fort Weaver overpass.
  • Alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Leokane Street to Pupupuhi Street

  • Left turn going eastbound at Leokane Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m.

Pupupuhi Street to Aniani Place

  • Left turn on eastbound and westbound at Pupukahi Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Aniani Place to Waipahu Depot Road

  • Left turn going westbound will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Waipahu Depot Road to Mokuola Street

  • Eastbound and westbound left turn lane at Waipahu Depot Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to Aniani Place or Mokuola Street.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • No crossing the highway at Waipahu Depot Street intersection from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to Aniani Place or Mokuola Street.
  • Westbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to Hikimoe Street.

Mokuola Street to Paiwa Street

  • Left turn westbound at Moloalo Street will be closed 24/7.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating eastbound lanes will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Eastbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be diverted to a temporary lane on the opposite side of the road.

Paiwa Street to Kahualii Street

  • Left turn lane going westbound will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Kahualii Street to the Kamehameha Highway overpass

  • Left turn westbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Eastbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be diverted to a temporary lane on the opposite side of the road. Left turns at the Kahualii Street intersection will be detoured to Paiwa Street or Waiawa Road.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

AINA HAINA TO HAWAII KAI
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Left lane closure in both directions between West Hind Drive and Hanauma Bay Road for sign installations as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

KAILUA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between Ulukahiki Street and Auloa Road for tree trimming.

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday: Right lane closure in the eastbound direction between Auloa Road and Uluhala Street for pole replacements.

WAIMANALO
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Flamingo Street and Makai Pier for utility installations.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

AIEA
Tuesday through Friday for the rail project:

Kaonohi Street to Pali Momi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Eastbound and westbound left-turns at Pali Momi Street will remain open during this time.
  • Lipoa Place intersection will be closed for approximately two months. Traffic will be detoured to Pali Momi Street or Kanuku Street.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pali Momi Street to Salt Lake Boulevard

  • Up to two eastbound lanes between Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Up to two westbound lanes between Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • On Thursday and Friday, the H201 eastbound onramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Motorists will be detoured to Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road.

KAAAWA 
24-hour lane closure through Tuesday, or until further notice, in the northbound direction between Kaaawa Valley Road and Kaaawa Place due to erosion caused by high surf. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane. Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the area.

KAHUKU TO HAUULA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Alternating lane closure in both directions between Sand Road and Kahana Valley Road for utility installations.

MILILANI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street for guardrail work, pavement striping installations, and shoulder improvements. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 Freeway.

PEARL CITY
Tuesday through Friday for the rail project:

Waiawa Road to Acacia Road

  • One inside lane eastbound at Acacia Road will be closed 24/7.
  • Inside westbound lane closed from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • No left turns from highway eastbound to Acacia Road and westbound to Home Depot from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • No crossing the highway at the Acacia Road intersection. The inside eastbound and westbound lanes will also be closed at this time.
  • Eastbound motorists will be detoured to Puu Momi Street. Westbound motorists will be detoured to Waiawa Road.
  • Two inside eastbound lanes will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Two inside westbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Inside left turn eastbound lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Acacia Road to Waimano Home Road

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.

Waimano Home Road to Puu Momi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.

Puu Momi Street to Puu Poni Street

  • One inside eastbound lane of Kamehameha Highway closed 24/7. Two eastbound and two westbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.

Puu Poni Street to Kuleana Road

  • One inside eastbound lane will be closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times. Traffic along H-1 will not be affected at this time.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Kuleana Road to Kaahumanu Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Left turn restrictions will be in place. Left turn westbound at Kaluamoi Place will be closed. Westbound motorists will be detoured to Kuleana Road.

Kaahumanu Street to Hekaha Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7.
  • Westbound left turn at Kaahumanu Street is reopened.
  • Eastbound left turn at Hekaha Stree is closed 24/7. Eastbound motorists will be detoured to Kanuku Street.
  • Outside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Hekaha Street to Kanuku Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Left turn restrictions will be in place.

Kanuku Street to Kaonohi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Left turn restrictions will be in place.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Alternating inside westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PEARL HARBOR
7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in the westbound direction between Center Drive and Halawa Drive for the rail project. The right turn only lane approaching Radford Drive may be closed during this time.

7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in the eastbound direction between Ford Island Bridge and Center Drive for the rail project.

  • One lane closed between Ford Island Bridge and Arizona Memorial Place.
  • Two lanes closed between Arizona Memorial Place and Center Drive.

PEARL HARBOR/AIRPORT
Tuesday through Friday for the rail project:

Center Drive to Radford Drive

  • Two westbound lanes closed between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; right turn allowed at the intersection.
  • Right turn lane only lane may be closed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Radford Drive to Halawa Drive

  • One westbound lane may be closed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Ford Island Bridge to Arizona Memorial Place

  • One eastbound lane may be closed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Arizona Memorial Place to Arizona Street

  • Two eastbound lanes closed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Arizona Street to Makalapa Road/Gate

  • Two eastbound lanes closed between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Makalapa Road to Center Drive

  • Two eastbound lanes closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Aolele Street (Airport)

  • Single lane closure (flagger set up) and shoulder lane closures between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

PUPUKEA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Alternating lane closure in both directions between Waimea Valley Road and Wallace Beach Park  for utility installations.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Single lane closure in the northbound direction between Wallace Beach Park and Pahipahialua Street for restriping and concrete barrier installations. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

HONOLULU 
3:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday: Lane closures in both directions between Salt Lake Boulevard and Bethel Street for the Great Aloha Run. Traffic will be detoured.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in both directions between River Street and Maunakea Street for utility installations.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 8 p.m.-3 a.m. Tuesday through Friday; Left lane closure in the eastbound direction between Alakawa Street and Pacific Street  for sewer maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 8 p.m.-3 a.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Waiakamilo Road and Alakawa Street for sewer maintenance.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive for concrete pumping and deliveries.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closed in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue for sewage maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 8 p.m.-3 a.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Cooke Street and Punchbowl Street for sewer work.

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Roving single lane closures in both directions between Palama Street and the eastbound H-1 Freeway On-Ramp for road repairs and landscape maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in both directions between River Street and the Pali Highway for utility installations.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Left lane closure in the westbound direction between Liliha Street and Pua Lane for utility intallations.

PEARL CITY
8 p.m.-1 a.m. Tuesday: Lane closure in both directions between 1st Street and 2nd Street for bridge deck work. Traffic will be detoured through Hugh Street.

— LILIHA STREET —

HONOLULU
Right lane closures in the northbound direction between North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard for roadway reconstruction.

  • One right lane closed Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Two right lanes closed on Friday from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.

2) HONOLULU
Lane closure on Liliha Street in the southbound direction between Kuakini Street and Vineyard Boulevard on Tuesday, Feb. 16, through Friday, Feb. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for road repairs.

— MIDDLE STREET —

KALIHI 
7 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday morning: Alternating lane closure in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. There will also be a 24/7 southbound median lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

— AOLELE STREET —

AIRPORT
8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Nimitz Highway and Lagoon Drive for the rail project.

— FORT WEAVER ROAD —

EWA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Keoneula Boulevard and Kuhina Street for utility repairs.

— KALAELOA BOULEVARD —

KAPOLEI
9 p.m.-5 a.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Opakapaka Street and the H-1 Freeway for utility repairs.
