The top 24 teams in the state will compete in the 35th annual Queen’s Medical Center/HHSAA Girls Soccer State Championships which kicks off Feb. 17-20 at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on Oahu.
The Mililani Trojans claim the top seed in the Division I tournament as defending state champions, followed by the Red Raiders of Iolani representing the ILH, Hilo representing the BIIF and Baldwin representing the MIL.
Coming from the BIIF, Waiakea, will play number five in the OIA, Campbell. Number two seed in the ILH, KS-Kapalama will play Moanalua, KS-Maui will compete against Castle and number two seed in the OIA, Pearl City will play number six seed, Kapolei. All games are taking place on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Two-time defending state champions, Hawaii Prep, is the top seed in the Division II tournament. Also competing in the Division II tournament is OIA representatives, Wailua against McKinley, KIF representative, Kauai against Leilehua, Maku Lani versus Waianae and Seabury versus KS-Hawaii. All games are also taking place on Wednesday 3 p.m.
