SCHEDULE OF LANE CLOSURES (Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.)

— H-1 FREEWAY —

HONOLULU 
8:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday morning: Lane closures in both directions between the Middle Street Overpass and Ainakoa Avenue for overhead sign replacements.

PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU
8 p.m.-4:30 a.m. Monday through Friday morning: Right lane closures in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) for bridge deck overlay work.

  • Two lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Three lanes closed from 8:45 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

WAIAWA INTERCHANGE
Sunday through Thursday for the rail project:

Farrington Highway to the H-1

  • Eastbound onramp to eastbound H-1 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Up to three eastbound lanes of the H-1 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Up to three westbound lanes at the H-1/H-2 merge will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Westbound offramp to Waipahu will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Farrington Highway and Kamehameha Highway near Waiawa Road

  • Either eastbound or westbound lanes at the H-1/H-2 merge near Waiawa Road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Drivers wll be detoured to a temporary lane on the opposite side of Farrington Highway.
  • Eastbound loop on-ramp to the H-2 Freeway north will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

WAIMALU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Shoulder closure in the eastbound direction between the Kaahumanu Street Overpass and the Kaonohi Street Overpass for slope repair work.

WAIPAHU 
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Up to four lanes closed in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass for the rail project. The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the freeway in the westbound direction for the rail project.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Shoulder closure in both directions between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Paiwa Street Underpass for slope repair work.

— H-2 FREEWAY —

WAIPIO
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Left lane closure in the southbound direction between the Waianae Off-Ramp (Exit 1B) and the H-1/H-2 merge for sign repairs.

7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday: Right lane closure on the Ka Uka Boulevard Off-Ramp (Exit 1) of the freeway in the northbound direction for electrical work.

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

MOANALUA
Left lane closure in both directions between the Fort Shafter/Ahua Street Off-Ramp (Exit 4) and the Ala Kapuna Street Overpass for median maintenance.

  • Tuesday: Left lane closed in the westbound direction from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday and Thursday: Left lane closed in the eastbound direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

9-11 a.m. Thursday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between the Middle Street Overpass and the Fort Shafter/Ahua Street Off-Ramp (Exit 4) for drainage improvements.

— H-3 FREEWAY —

KANEOHE
9-11 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Right lane closure in both directions at the Harano Tunnels for tunnel maintenance.

  • Closure in the Honolulu-bound direction on Tuesday, Mar. 8
  • Closure in the Kaneohe-bound direction on Wednesday, Mar. 9

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Shoulder closure in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp (Exit 11) and the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass for utility installations.

8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between the Kapaa Quarry Place Underpass and the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass for median maintenance.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

HONOKAI HALE
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Shoulder closure in the westbound direction between the H-1 Freeway and Waiomea Street for road repairs.

PEARL CITY 
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the eastbound off-ramp to the northbound H-2 Freeway for the rail project.

8 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Lane closure in both directions between Waiawa Road and the Kamehameha Highway Overpass for the rail project.

WAIALUA
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Lane closure in both directions between Kaupe Road and Kaukonahua Road for utility installations.

WAIPAHU 
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the eastbound off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway for the rail project.

Sunday through Thursday for the rail project:
Old Fort Weaver Road to Leoku Street

  • Off-ramp from southbound Fort Weaver Road to westbound Farrington Highway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Detour to Leoku Street.

Monday through Friday for the rail project:
Old Fort Weaver Road to Leoku Street

  • One alternating inside/outside lane of westbound Farrington Highway will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Leoku Street to Leokane Street

  • Left turn going westbound at Leoku Street will be closed 24/7. Drivers will be detoured to an alternate turn on the west side of the Fort Weaver overpass.
  • Eastbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoures to a temporary lane on Farrington Highway.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Leokane Street to Pupukahi Street

  • One alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • One alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Left turn lane on eastbound and westbound Farrington Highway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Detours at Pupupuhi Street or Leokane Street.

Pupukahi Street to Pupupuhi Street

  • One alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • One alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Left turn lane on eastbound and westbound Farrington Highway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Detours to Aniani Place.

Aniani Place to Waipahu Depot Road

  • Left turn lane on westbound Farrington Highway at Aniani Place will be reduced 24/7.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Waipahu Depot Road to Mokuola Street

  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Westbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to Hikimoe Street.

Mokuola Street to Paiwa Street

  • No left turns from eastbound or westbound Farrington Highway to Mokuola Street or Awalau Street 24/7.
  • No crossing the highway at the Mokuola Street/Awalau Street intersection from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • One eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Paiwa Street to Kahualii Street

  • One westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • One eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Kahualii Street to the Kamehameha Highway overpass

  • Left turn westbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating westbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Alternating eastbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

AINA HAINA TO HAWAII KAI
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Alternating single lane closure in both directions between West Hind Drive and Hanauma Bay Road for sign installations and manhole adjustments as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

HAWAII KAI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Alternating lane closures in both directions between Paiko Drive and Moomuku Place for sewer maintenance.

KAHALA
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday: Right lane closure in the eastbound direction between Ainakoa Avenue and Laukahi Street for utility maintenance.

WAIMANALO
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday: Lane closure in the southbound direction between Nakini Street and Huli Street for pole replacements.

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday: Lane closure in the northbound direction between Hihimanu Street and Aloiloi Street for utility replacements.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

AIEA
Monday through Friday for the rail project:

Kaonohi Street to Pali Momi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Eastbound and westbound left-turns at Pali Momi Street will remain open during this time.
  • Lipoa Place intersection will be closed for approximately two months. Traffic will be detoured to Pali Momi Street or Kanuku Street.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pali Momi Street to Kohomua Street

  • Up to two eastbound lanes between Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Up to two westbound lanes between Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The H201 westbound onramp will be closed intermittently from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday through Thursday morning. Motorists will be detoured to Honomanu Street and Moanalua Road.
  • Westbound exit at Kohomua Street will be closed 24/7 for overhead guideway installation. Motorists will be detoured to Kalaloa Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

KANEOHE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in the northbound direction between the H-3 Freeway and Halekou Road for utility installations.

MILILANI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street for guardrail work, pavement striping installations, and shoulder improvements. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 Freeway.

PEARL CITY
Monday through Friday for the rail project:

Waiawa Road to Acacia Road

  • One inside lane eastbound at Acacia Road will be closed 24/7.
  • Two inside eastbound lanes will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Two inside westbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Acacia Road to Waimano Home Road

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.
  • Left westbound lanes into Home Depot will be closed. Westbound motorists will be detoured to Waiawa Road.

Waimano Home Road to Puu Momi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.

Puu Momi Street to Puu Poni Street

  • One inside eastbound lane of Kamehameha Highway closed 24/7. Two eastbound and two westbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times.

Puu Poni Street to Kuleana Road

  • One inside eastbound lane will be closed 24/7. Two eastbound lanes will remain open during peak travel times. Traffic along H-1 will not be affected at this time.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Westbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday to Thursday. Motorists will be detoured to a temporary lane on the eastbound side of the highway. Motorists along Kuleana Road will be detoured to Kaahuman Street. Eastbound left-turn motorists will be detoured to Puu Momi Street and Kaahumanu Street. Business access will be maintained.

Kuleana Road to Kaahumanu Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Left turn restrictions will be in place. Westbound left turn into Kaluamoi Place is closed. Motorists will be detoured to Kaahumanu Street.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Kaahumanu Street to Hekaha Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7.
  • Westbound left turn at Kaahumanu Street is reopened.
  • Eastbound left turn at Hekaha Street is closed 24/7. Eastbound motorists will be detoured to Kanuku Street.
  • Outside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Alternating westbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Hekaha Street to Kanuku Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7.
  • Westbound left turn at Hekaha Street is re-opened.

Kanuku Street to Kaonohi Street

  • One inside eastbound lane and one inside westbound lane will be closed 24/7. Left turn restrictions will be in place.
  • Inside eastbound lane will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Inside westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Alternating inside westbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PEARL HARBOR
7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Alternating lane closures in both directions at the Radford Drive/Makalapa Road Intersection for the rail project.

7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closures in the westbound direction between Center Drive and Halawa Drive for the rail project. The right turn only lane approaching Radford Drive may be closed during this time.

7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive for the rail project. The left turn lane into Makalapa Gate will be contraflowed in the eastbound lanes.

7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closures in the eastbound direction between Ford Island Bridge and Center Drive for the rail project.

  • One lane closed between Ford Island Bridge and Arizona Memorial Place.
  • Two lanes closed between Arizona Memorial Place and Arizona Street.
  • Two lanes closed between Arizona Street and Makalapa Road.
  • Two lanes closed between Makalapa Road and Center Drive.

PUPUKEA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Single lane closure in the northbound direction between Wallace Beach Park and Pahipahialua Street for restriping and concrete barrier maintenance. Traffic will be contraflowed through the remaining open lane.

WAIKANE TO KAAAWA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in the northbound direction between Waihee Road and Kaaawa Valley Road for tree trimming.

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

KALIHI
8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: Left shoulder closure in both directions between Valley View Drive and the Wilson Tunnels for sign maintenance.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

HONOLULU
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Two lanes closed in both directions between Bethel Street and Kekaulike Street for underground utility installations.

9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday: Lane closure in the westbound direction between Sumner Street and Alakawa Street for utility monitoring.

9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday: Alternating lane closure in both directions between Sumner Street and Waiakamilo Road for utility monitoring.

8 p.m.-3 a.m. Monday through Friday: Left lane closure in the eastbound direction between Alakawa Street and Pacific Street for sewer maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 8 p.m.-3 a.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Waiakamilo Road and Alakawa Street for sewer maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Right lane closure in both directions between River Street and Maunakea Street for utility installations.

— PALI HIGHWAY —

KANEOHE
7 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday: Lane closure in the eastbound direction between the Pali Tunnels and Kamehameha Highway for landscape maintenance.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Queen Street and Atkinson Drive for concrete pumping and deliveries.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Right lane closed in the eastbound direction between Kahanamoku Street and Kalakaua Avenue for sewer maintenance.

8 p.m.-3 a.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Cooke Street and Punchbowl Street for sewer work.

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Right lane closure in both directions between Aala Street and the Pali Highway for utility installations and tree trimming.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Left lane closure in the westbound direction between Liliha Street and Pua Lane for utility installations.

— KAPIOLANI BOULEVARD —

HONOLULU
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday: Lane closures in both directions at the Kapahulu Avenue and Waialae Avenue intersection for utility installations.

— WAIALAE AVENUE —

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday: Lane closures in both directions at the Kapahulu Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard Intersection for utility installations.

— LILIHA STREET —

HONOLULU
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday: Lane closure in the southbound direction between Vineyard Boulevard and North King Street for roadway reconstruction.

8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday through Sunday, March 13: Two lanes closed in the northbound direction between North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard for roadway reconstruction. Traffic will be contraflowed to provide one travel lane in either direction. Left turns from Liliha Street to North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard are prohibited. Special duty police officers will assist with traffic flow.

— MIDDLE STREET —

KALIHI 
7 p.m.-4 a.m. Monday through Saturday: Alternating lane closure in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed. There will also be a 24/7 southbound median lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.

—SALT LAKE BOULEVARD —

SALT LAKE
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between Ala Oli Street and Kahuapaani Street for utility repairs.

— FORT WEAVER ROAD —

EWA BEACH
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Alternating lane closures in both directions between Keoneula Boulevard and Kuhina Street for utility construction.

9 p.m.-4 a.m. Sunday through Friday morning: Closure of the ramps to Farrington Highway for the rail project.

  • Southbound Fort Weaver Road to eastbound Farrington Highway
  • Southbound Fort Weaver Road to westbound Farrington Highway
  • Northbound Fort Weaver Road to eastbound Farrington Highway

— KEEHI TRANSFER STATION ROAD —

KALIHI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday: Lane closure in the westbound direction at the Middle Street Intersection for utility repairs.
