Hawaii’s “Move Over Law” keeps you and first responders safe

We want you to always arrive alive, and the Hawaii State Department of Transportation, along with EMS and HPD, want to remind you about Hawaii’s “Move Over Law.” Remember, when you see EMS or HPD approaching, slow down; pull over to your right or left, creating a lane for the emergency vehicle, stop if necessary.  Allow the emergency vehicle to pass, and then continue on your way.  The same holds true if there is a major traffic jam on the freeway due to a possible auto collision ahead of you. Create a lane so those emergency vehicles can pass. Remember, you can save a life by moving over on Hawaii’s roads, for more information head to www.Moveoverlaws.com.
