Solar Impulse 2 takes to the skies again

The solar Impulse 2 is in the air for another test flight.

The experimental plane took off at about 6 a.m. Thursday from the Kalaeloa Airport. The flight is expected to last about an hour

It’ll be on display on Saturday, April 2, at the Kalaeloa Airport in Kapolei between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Visitors will also be able to meet the crew behind the historic flight.

Those interested in attending the event are urged to register online, which includes accepting a waiver granting Solar Impulse SA and their affiliates the right to use photos, video, and other materials taken at the event for promotional purposes.
