A moped rider was rushed to the hospital after a head-on collision on King Street.
The incident was reported just before 2 a.m. Monday near Kealamakai Street.
Police say a 32-year-old Mililani driver was traveling eastbound on King Street when he collided with a 33-year-old moped rider from Honolulu who was going westbound, the wrong way on King Street. The moped rider was treated and transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police say alcohol is a contributing factor and speed is not a factor.
