Learn new career skills at Kaua‘i Community College

In today’s complex world, life-long learning is essential to keep pace with new technologies and have the opportunity to live our best life. At Kaua‘i Community College, students are encouraged to enjoy the creative and learning process, to learn both the artistic and echnical skills required to succeed in whatever they choose to do in life.

Kaua’i Community College student Jana Rothenberg made a life-changing decision. She left a corporate communications career to go back to school to learn how to produce documentaries and films. She enrolled in the Digital Media Arts program, where she has taken the skills she learned in the classroom and put it to practice in the field. Today, Jana is a producer/director of documentaries and marketing videos.

Kaua’i Community College is in Lihue, on the island of Kaua‘i. For anyone looking to enroll in the digital media program, you can go to kauai.hawaii.edu to learn more about the courses that are offered and how to apply. You can also contact instructor, Gary Ellwood, at gellwood@hawaii.edu.
