A pair of local baseball standouts have become the best of the west.
Oregon State sophomores Punahou graduate KJ Harrison and ‘Iolani alum Christian “C-Boy” Donahue were named to the All-Pac-12 first team Wednesday.
The honor is the second straight for Harrison, who clubbed 10 home runs, 14 doubles, four triples, and drove in 47 runs for the Beavers. The first baseman’s sophomore campaign came on the heels of beign honored as the conference’s freshman of the year in 2015.
Donahue, a converted outfielder, ranked eighth in the conference with a .339 batting average. C-Boy clubbed 11 doubles, five triples, and a home run with 29 runs batted in.
Both Harrison and Donahue are slated to play in the prestigious Cape Cod league this summer for the Wareham Gatemen.
