The public is advised to stay out of the waters near the Port Allen commercial boat harbor in Kauai due to a sewage spill.
The spill was due to a power failure. It began around 12:45 p.m. Friday. An estimated 100 gallons flowed onto Waialo Road and into a storm drain.
At this time, it is unknown how much of the 100 gallons has reached harbor waters.
The discharge was contained at 1:15 p.m.
