Honolulu police have charged a man for allegedly impersonating a police officer.
It happened just before 5 a.m. Monday in Waikiki.
According to police, Johnson Liftee, 48, identified himself as an officer and ordered another man to exit his vehicle.
He then allegedly removed the victim’s property without permission.
The victim called the actual police who then arrested Liftee.
He was booked and subsequently charged for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle in the first degree and impersonating a law enforcement officer in the second degree.
His bail was set at $2,000.
