After last performing in Honolulu with the reunited Police back in 2008, Sting and a band of his own will return for a special concert on Nov. 4 at the Blaisdell Arena.

His website announced Monday that it will be a one-off and not part of a larger tour.

Presale tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, ranging from $65 to $225, with additional fees.

Tickets will be sold at the Blaisdell Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets in Walmart Hawaii stores, online at and charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.

This will mark the fourth time that Sting has performed in Hawaii. Before the aforementioned 2008 reunion show, the Police played two earlier and equally memorable shows here — back in February 1980 at the University of Hawaii’s Campus Center Ballroom in support of their second album “Reggatta de Blanc” and again four years later that same month at Aloha Stadium as part of the worldwide “Synchronicity” tour.
