Children on Kauai got the chance to participate at football camps hosted by the University of Hawaii football team.
There were two camps on Wednesday at Vidinha Stadium. They were set up to teach kids offense and defense techniques.
“We talked early after I got the job. We talked about putting together a day on Kauai. They organized this thing. Well over 200 kids all getting good work plenty of smiles, doing some the drills we do at UH. I love seeing this many kids play football,” said UH Football head coach Nick Rolovich.
Coach Rolovich says he had a talk with the kids after the camp, and told them to make good decisions and live with aloha.
