Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers have captured Austin Calderon, also known as Billy Pitler.
They say he was arrested three years in a row for drugs and robbing someone at a bus stop.
“On March 26, 2013, at 9:30 a.m., the victim was sitting at a bus stop on North School Street when he was approached by an unknown male,” said CrimeStoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “The male brandished brass knuckles, threatened the victim and demanded money.”
“The victim called police and Calderon was located nearby and arrested for robbery in the first degree. While being placed under arrest, he was searched and drugs and drug paraphernalia were found on his person,” added Buffett.
He was also arrested for drugs in March 2014 and June 2015.
Calderon was wanted three warrants totaling $51,000 for not complying with the terms of his supervised release.
“He has five prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area,” Buffett said.
He was arrested on June 27, at approximately 3:20 a.m., on Kapiolani Boulevard.
