Ask HPD: Law on parking cars near the corner of the street

Question: I notice in some areas that cars are parked up to the corner of the street. Is there a law that cars must park at least a so many feet from the corner of any street?

Answer: The law requires a vehicle to be parked at least 30 feet from an intersection. Vehicles are also prohibited from parking in the turnaround area of any dead-end street. A violation can result in a $35 fine.
