A new retail and dining area is coming to Ward Village this fall.

South Shore Market will open in November on the corner of Auahi Street and Queen Lane.

The 25,125-square-foot space will house 17 merchants, including Cameron Hawaii, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Eden in Love, MORI by Art + Flea, and Salvage Public.

Inspired by retail spaces like New York’s Chelsea Market and California’s Anaheim Packing District, South Shore Market will also feature large communal tables and interactive public art displays showcasing local artists and designers.

The aesthetic is meant to reflect the diversity of Oahu’s south shore — combining the area’s surf spots and outdoor lifestyle with the energy of Kakaako’s art and culture with an urban feel.
