Know any middle and high school students that want to learn more about animals?
The Hawaiian Humane Society will be holding an “animal hero class” next month.
It’s geared for students who want to help animals in the community and need service learning hours for school. The class does not prepare students to do hands-on work with shelter animals.
The class is on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuition is $25 and scholarships available upon request.
Another class is scheduled for Nov. 19.
