Evenflo voluntary recalls booster seats after reports of children loosening harness

Evenflo has announced a voluntary recall on select models of its Evolve 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seat.

The company cited concerns that some children have figured out how to loosen the harness, freeing themselves without their parents’ knowledge.

Evenflo is providing owners with a new harness adjustment button which will effectively eliminate this possibility.

Approximately 32,000 seats in the U.S. and Canada with model numbers 34411700, 34411741 and 34411700C, manufactured before Feb. 9, 2016, are included in this voluntary recall.

To determine if your child’s seat is included in this recall and to order a remedy kit, click here or call 1-800-233-5921 (US), 1-800-265-0749 (Canada), Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. EST. Do not return your child’s seat to retailers.

Evenflo is conducting this voluntary recall in coordination with the U.S National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) and Transport Canada.
