Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, “For Love of Country – Pass It On” will be the launch event at Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor on Ford Island.
Actor-musician Gary Sinise will be part of a night of tributes, entertainment and inspiration on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The fundraiser supports the restoration of the historic hangars located at the Pearl Harbor battlefield as well as to support youth education programs.
There will also be a silent auction offering art, jewelry and special travel experiences like a flight in the Goodyear Blimp, and a guided trip to Normandy and Iwo Jima.
During the 75th Pearl Harbor Commemoration’s “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future” series of events, Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band will also perform in a free concert preceding the screening of “From Here to Eternity” on Waikiki Beach, Monday, Dec. 5.
