Students Get Ready to Cast Their Ballots in the General Election


Early walk-in voting begins in Hawaii tomorrow, but not just for adults. Children and teens across the state can cast their ballots too and participate in “WeVoteHawaii”, formerly known as “Kids Voting Hawaii”. Students in all grades in public, private, charter and home schools can cast their ballots. Lyla Berg of “WeVoteHawaii” and Adam Yeatts, a teacher at Kaiser High School, joined Wake Up 2day to talk about the program and its importance.
