Eastbound lane closures on H-1 Freeway due to rail project

A heads up for drivers using the H-1 Freeway near the H-1/H-2 merge this weekend. As many as four eastbound lanes will be closed so work can be done on the rail project.

The overnight work starts at Friday at 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. Saturday; On Saturday from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. Sunday.

The area the work is going to be conducted in is from the H-1/H-2 merge along the freeway until the Kaahuamanu Street overpass.

During the same time periods you can expect up to four lanes in the westbound direction to be closed for rail work as well. Again over the next two nights, starting at 9 p.m. Friday until 4:30 a.m. Saturday. And then 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. over night tomorrow.
