The lane closure schedule for Halloween weekend Friday through Sunday is being adjusted in consideration of multiple events happening on Oahu.
Previous lane closures had been scheduled for the rail project on the H-1 Freeway and Kamehameha Highway.
These lane closures will start at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday or when traffic has cleared. Traffic will be monitored on Monday and closure start times may be adjusted to help keep traffic moving.
The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit agreed to adjust these closures to mitigate expected traffic from the University of Hawaii football game at Aloha Stadium, the Oahu Interscholastic Association championship football games, and other Halloween weekend activities.
