Paramedics rushed two teens to the hospital after they were hit by a vehicle Monday.
It happened at 6:51 p.m. at the intersection of Renton Road and Pahika Street.
According to Emergency Medical Services, a 13-year-old boy was listed in serious condition, and a 14-year-old girl was in stable condition.
Officials say they were in a crosswalk when they were hit.
Mohammed Khan lives in the area and rushed over after hearing the crash.
“They were lying on the ground. The boy seems like comatose, the girl was in shock. She didn’t know what was going on,” he said.
Khan says that intersection is a dangerous one.
“I’ve been here about 20 years and I’ve seen so many accidents here right in the intersection and they build more houses here and no stop signs, no lights, nothing,” he said. “I must have seen 10 accidents in the last 20 years.”
