Mililani High School is one of the largest public schools in the state with more than 2,500 students.
The home of the Trojans was established in 1973.
John Kauinana Stadium also serves as an off-season training ground for several NFL players, including Michael Bennett, Manti Te‘o and DeForest Buckner.
Kauinana, the stadium’s namesake, was the school’s first athletics director and football coach. He led the team to its first 49 victories.
Mililani is the youngest school to win a top-level football state title (2014).
Notable alums include actress Maggie Q, MMA Atomweight world champion Angela Lee, and two-time Super Bowl champion Polynesian Football Hall of Fame inductee Ma‘a Tanuvasa.
