Marathon Training: Breaking down the race


The Honolulu Marathon is just around the corner and we need to get you trained up, both physically and mentally. During endurance events, is easier to break down the race in “manageable” miles segments. For example for Honolulu Marathon the first 3 miles use as a warm up section, enjoying the fireworks and the amazing energy from all the people around you. The next miles I recommend breaking down the marathon by points along the course.
