Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers are looking for a man with nearly two dozen convictions, but this time they have warrants for his arrest in connection with drug and assault cases.
They are looking for Michael Kovaloff.
“On June 3, 2013, at 6 p.m. officers from the narcotics division executed a search warrant on a home on Hoomaka Street due to numerous complaints of drug activities,” said CrimeStoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “While entering the home they observed a male in a second bedroom and identified him as Kovaloff.”
He was arrested for promoting a dangerous drug in the third degree and drug paraphernalia.
A month prior to that incident in May 2013, he was also arrested for assault.
Kovaloff is now wanted on two $20,000 warrants in connection with those cases for not following the terms of HOPE probation.
“He has 22 prior convictions and known to frequent the Ewa Beach area,” Buffett added.
