The Honolulu Police Department is holding an open house event to look for new recruits.
Interested participants can learn more about the role of a Honolulu police officer, tour the facility, and speak to recruiters and training staff.
The open house will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at HPD’s training academy, Ke Kula Makai, 93-093 Waipahu Depot Street.
Registration is required, and you can sign up online here.
Applications for Metropolitan Police Recruits will be accepted online here from Sunday, Dec. 4, to Thursday, Dec. 15, at 11:59 p.m. HST.
Applicants must be 20 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED. The open house is not a required step of the application process.
