Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers are looking for a man accused of stealing from his former employer.
Police are looking for James Byers.
“On Sept. 23, 2015, the complainant was notified by one of her employees that a former had used the business credit card and made charged at a hotel in Waikiki,” said CrimeStoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “Upon checking her online statement, found that there were charges that she did not authorize. Further checks in the business also found that money was missing and did an investigating. Byers was found in the Waikiki area and arrested for theft in the second degree and fraudulent use of a credit card.”
Byers is now wanted on a $50,000 contempt warrant.
“He has two prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu and Waipahu areas,” Buffett added.
