The Maui County Emergency Management Agency is asking that anyone who experienced storm damage from the heavy rains Sunday night to report the damage online.

The Report Storm Damage document is available online by clicking here.

This information will ensure that the County of Maui has a complete picture of the scope of damage caused by the high winds.

The data collected will allow county officials to determine if the county jurisdiction qualifies for any state or federal assistance, as well as to assist with flood plain mapping.

Maui County says completion of the survey does not constitute an application for assistance.

Affected parties still need to file claims with their insurance companies.

For more information call the Maui County Emergency Management Agency at 270-7285.
