The crew arrived in Yarmouth, a seaport of about 7,000.
The Peabody Essex Museum is home to 5,000 Hawaiian artifacts, including a feather cape, kapa.
Hundreds stood dockside to greet the canoe, including Hawaii transplants and members of the Native American Massachusett tribe.
“I just feel blessed to be from two very beautiful worlds,” Trish Keliinui said.
The canoe and crew will depart for New Bedford, Massachusetts on Tuesday.
It’s the last leg of the journey for this current crew.
The crew should arrive at Block Island Sunday night or Monday.
